RIBA Awards open for entries

The search for next year’s RIBA Stirling Prize winner has begun with practices urged to submit projects of ‘architectural excellence’ into the 2011 RIBA Awards scheme

Supported by The Architects’ Journal, buildings must be completed and occupied between the dates of 1 January 2009 and 18 February 2011 to qualify.

The Stirling Prize shortlist is drawn from the winners which will be announced in the AJ in June 2011.

The institute is also looking for new buildings in Europe and further afield to find the RIBA International Award winners.

The closing date for entries to both awards is Friday 18 February 2011.
