RIBA Awards 2014: Yorkshire shortlist revealed

Cartwright Pickard has a trio of buildings shortlisted for RIBA Awards in the Yorkshire area

A total of 15 projects in the region are vying for this year’s RIBA Awards, including Adam Khan Architects’ Seizure Gallery at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield which was also a finalist for the AJ’s 2014 Small Projects Award.

The architects will find out whether they have won a Regional Award at a ceremony in Leeds on the 1 May.

Regional winners will be put forward for the RIBA National Awards, with the lucky recipients announced in June. Those collecting national awards will then be considered for the 2014 RIBA Stirling Prize.
