RIBA Awards 2011: European victors

David Chipperfield Architects is the biggest winner in this year’s RIBA European Awards 2011

The practice’s Kaufhaus Tyrol in Innsbruck and Folkwang Museum in Essen were named among the eight projects to be handed the awards, which recognise ‘excellent work being done by RIBA members in the European Union outside the UK’.

 All eight are eligible for the Stirling Prize.
