PRP to begin first phase of Hackney regeneration scheme

PRP has been given the green light for phase one of the Haggerston West and Kingsland regeneration scheme in the London Borough of Hackney

The scheme will regenerate the 4.3 hectare estate and includes 761 new homes, 418 of which will be affordable. The project will create 95 three- and four-storey town houses for larger families as well as private and communal gardens and facilities.

Mobilisation will start on site in July and delivery is scheduled for two phases of construction over a five-and-a-half-year period, with completion for first and second phase expected by 2011 and 2014 respectively.

The client is the London & Quadrant Housing Trust.
