Post-Works reveals temporary Essex radio station scheme

[First look] Post-Works with artist Melissa Appleton has unveiled plans for a pop-up radio station in Writtle, Essex

Planned to host a series of live broadcasts by artists, writers, musicians and scientists, the scheme is located nearby to the site of first regular UK radio station known as ‘2EmmaToc’.

Post-Works’ design was inspired by the earlier radio station’s original hut.

The Writtle Calling installation will broadcast between 6pm and 7.30pm from 11 to 18 September.

An evening event and barbeque is also planned to take place at the structure on 15 September.

Listeners can tune in locally on 87.7 FM or online at
