Pascall+Watson to get slice of the Shard

Renzo Piano has appointed Pascall+Watson to deliver the new station concourse for the Shard at London Bridge

The practice has been asked by Renzo Piano Building Workshop to assist with the new £25 million station concourse for the skyscraper - set to become the tallest building in Western Europe - on the back of their ‘expertise and experience in maintaining operations of stations during construction periods’.

The £424 million landmark, which is currently under construction above London Bridge station south of the River Thames, will be 310m and 100 storeys tall when it is completed in 2012.

Pascall+Watson will be working alongside project managers Turner & Townsend, structural engineer WSP, MEP engineer ARUP and contractor Mace on the scheme.

  • I would have to say that it will enlighten the southside and offer more opportunities for the workers. Online Repro London will be there.
