Partington captures £120m Hamiltons' project

Ex-Hamiltons design figurehead Robin Partington has snaffled up the £120 million Park House scheme from his former employers

Land Securities has decided to novate the one-time Foster + Partners ace Partington – who left Hamiltons (now BFLS) to set up on his own last September – to take forward the mixed-use development off Oxford Road, central London.

BFLS will play no further design role in the project.

A spokesman for BFLS said the move had been amicable and that there was a ‘certain logic’ behind it, with Partington having worked on the scheme since conception.

He added: ‘Our work is done on the project now but we have maintained a cordial relationship with Land Sec and it is not the end of our relationship with them.’

‘People working on the project have been deployed elsewhere.’
