Office building, Govan, Glasgow by gm+ad

[FIRST LOOK + PROJECT DATA] Glasgow-based gm+ad has submitted plans for this 4,500m² speculative office building in Govan

The scheme for developer Calmont Metro on the fringes of central Glasgow will sit on the Clyde tunnel approach road and, according to the practice, will mark the ‘gateway to the city from the airport and M8 [while] reinforcing the urban grid pattern of Govan’.

gm+ad has lodged a planning application for a new 12,800m² office building in Govan on the fringes of central Glasgow  on behalf of Calmont Metro. Located on the approach road to the Clyde Tunnel, the design marks the gateway to the city from the airport and M8, and reinforces the urban grid pattern of Govan.

The development sits next to the proposed new Southern General Superhospital.
