KPF completes Imperial College Eastside Residence

London’s Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects (KPF) has completed its £64 million Eastside Residence in South Kensington, housing three student halls for Imperial College, London

The 14,567m2 project replaces the 1967 Linstead Hall and completes the redevelopment of Prince’s Gardens square.

The building, which ‘mirrors the design of the Southside Residences’, has 419 single bedrooms, a ground floor shop, two common rooms and a café bar. KPF’s design team included Sara Aronsson, Anabel Fernandez, Minseok Kim, Maria Laina, David Leventhal, Fred Pilbrow, Jung Soo Kim, Eva Tiedemann and Eunsil Yang.
