Ken Yeang to speak at AJ's Green Rethink conference

Eco-skyscraper pioneer Ken Yeang will deliver a keynote address at the first AJ Footprint Live: The Green Rethink conference on Tuesday, 26 November

Yeang will speak about his research, design and built work on eco-architecture and eco-masterplanning. 

He will also consider design beyond existing accreditation systems such as LEED and BREEAM and discuss the next generation of green architecture. 

Yeang joins a list of high-profile speakers including Terry Farrell; Simon Thurley, chief executive of English Heritage; Patrick Bellew of Atelier Ten; Alan Shingler, chair of The RIBA Sustainable Futures Group; Andy von Bradsky, chairman of PRP; Sadie Morgan, founding director of dRMM; Julian Robinson, Director of Estates at the LSE; Matt Bell, group head of external affairs at Berkeley Homes; Albert Williamson-Taylor, co-founder of AKT II; Pascal Mittermaier, sustainability chief at Lend Lease, and Simon Sturgis of Sturgis Carbon Profiling.

AJ Footprint Live will address key topics such as the future of housing, building green and tall, and what to do with existing stock and heritage assets. There will also be a session on emerging green technology and specifying green, with briefings on Part L and Soft Landings.
