In pictures: the BCIA judges visit the finalists

The AJ can reveal an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek at the judging of this year’s BCIA Awards

In recent weeks the jury has been crossing the country viewing all 41 of the finalists vying to win accolades in seven different categories - ranging from the Small Building Project prize for those schemes under £3 million, to the Major Civil Engineering Project award for projects over £50 million (click here to see the all the shortlists).

Judges include AJ editorial director Paul Finch and features editor Rory Olcayto.

Their travels have already taken them to the North Yorkshire Dales, East Anglia, the East Midlands, Wales and the South West of England.
