Hodder unwraps Manchester 'student castle'

Hodder + Partners has completed a 33-storey student block on Great Marlborough Street in Manchester

The £45 million scheme is the city’s second tallest residential building after the Beetham Tower and was backed by property firm Student Castle, cofounded by Carphone Warehouse’s Charles Dunstone.

Featuring 525 student bedrooms, the scheme features four towers staggered in height with the two smaller blocks on the south side of the development and the larger towers on the north east and north west corners.
