As branded high-street chain stores fall like over-priced nine pins, internet shopping is blamed as well as the out-of-town supermarket mega- sheds and mammoth malls.

This cartoon is from the AJ for 01.06.88 when the latter proliferated and through their cut-throat price wars did for the traditional small high-street shops. Ker-ching!
