Green light for Pardey's Hurst House

[FIRST LOOK + PLANS] John Pardey Architects has bagged planning permission for this L-shaped, four-bedroom house in Buckinghamshire

Overlooking the Chilterns Area of Outstanding National Beauty the scheme sports photovoltaic panels and a ground-source heat pump, aiming to reach Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5.

The ground floor has coursed stone walls with modular living wall panels and the first floor is clad in western red cedar, which will age to a silver finish.

The £750,000 project is scheduled to complete in autumn 2011.
