Green guru Hattie Hartman to speak at Ecobuild

Footprint blog author and AJ sustainability editor Hattie Hartman will host a discussion about green design at this week’s Ecobuild conference

Kicking off at 11.00 am tomorrow (1 March 2011) on stand ‘S2001’, Hartman will ask Ecobuild attendees about the future of green products blogging, throwing open the floor to debate.

Hartman said: ‘When I was asked to start Footprint two years ago, posting twice a week was a challenge. Now, Footprint is posting twice a day and many days we could easily being doing twice that.

‘The thirst for inspiration and technical know-how in sustainable design has exploded.’

With more than 1.5 million hits so far, the Footprint blog features coverage of green projects, policy developments and events along with the FootprintWire daily roundup of green news and a monthly books received column and reader offers.

Throughout the week AJ team members will be at Ecobuild meeting attendees and promoting our new digital archive product the AJ Buildings Library which features drawings, images and data for 800-plus ‘exemplar’ projects.
