Norman Foster will speak about his early work and passion for cycling and cross-country skiing in this year’s RIBA Trust Annual Discourse
Discussing a career which spans four decades, Foster is expected to talk about his zeal for art, aviation and automobiles to his role as chair of the UK’s second largest practice.
The event will take place in the Jarvis Hall at the RIBA on Tuesday 12 October 2010 from 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £12 or £10 for concessions and are available online.
The speech will also be broadcast online at www.gleeds.tv along with previous lectures in the ‘International Dialogues: Architecture and Climate Change series’.
Last year’s discourse was delivered by architectural critic Joseph Rykwert. The event is sponsored by Gleeds.
