Work has begun on Fletcher Priest Architects’ £25 million refurbishment of Carmelite Riverside at 50 Victoria Embankment in London
The refurbishment of the 12,500m² building will retain much of the existing frame of the building but will incorporate a new riverside façade and a new glazed level at the sixth floor within an accessible roof terrace.
The building is designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent for Offices on completion, with an expected 40 per cent reduction in emissions over the existing building.
