First look: Pringle Richard Sharratt's Folkestone project

The Architects’ Journal reveals the first look at Pringle Richard Sharratt Architects’ Folkestone regeneration project

Led by the Creative Foundation, it is targeting economic growth and regeneration of the coastal town through a range of art-based projects.

These include an ‘innovative Creative Quarter’, a new university centre, an arts-based city academy, new arts facilities including a performing arts centre and the launch of the Folkestone Triennal.

The Creative Foundation receives support from a wide range of statutory bodies and charitable trusts, including local, regional and national agencies, arts charities and the De Haan Charitable Trust.
