First look: Michael Aukett unveils plans for 100 Cheapside

[FIRST LOOK + PROJECT DATA] Michael Aukett Architects has released images of its proposal for this new commercial building in central London

The ten-storey, 12,980m², mixed-use building will sit in the heart of the redevelopment area of King Street, Trump Street and Cheapside.

So far, the proposals have been designed with the scale of neighbouring 107 Cheapside and Kings House in mind, along with the strict sight-lines for St Paul’s Cathedral. The design team working on the project is Steve Baker, Andy Tropia, Mark Robinson, Lucia Ramadan, Harminder Shergill and Isaura Kalyan.

Aukett have not set a time-scale, although the proposal is currently going through London’s planning authorities.
