Feilden Clegg Bradley reveals new Leeds homes scheme

Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has won permission, subject to s106 agreement, for this residential scheme in Globe Road, next to Leeds station

The £92 million project, for Taylor Wimpey, replaces an earlier 887-home for the waterside plot - an RIBA competition-winning design by Assael Architecture.

The new proposals features 609 homes.

A Taylor Wimpey spokesman said the scheme would not be affected by the High Speed 2 rail link. One of the options for a new terminus at Leeds would nestle north of the station close to Globe Road, between the exisitng platforms and the canal.

He said: ‘We have taken into account the positive effects the proposed HS2 scheme could have on our site, and will phase the construction of our development accordingly, should the HS2 programme receive approval.’
