Exclusive: 3DReid student prize shortlist revealed
The AJ can exclusively unveil the shortlist for this year’s 3DReid Student Prize - the UK’s largest, one-off student award worth £1,500 to the winner
Among the five finalists, chosen from a 12-strong longlist (AJ 11.07.11), is Luca Di Somma - a student from the University of Dundee with the project The Liberation of Space. Last year’s prize was won by another University of Dundee Part II student, Alan Keane.
The annual award, which is now into its sixth year, celebrates the best Part II students from schools across the country, with each university nominating their hopefuls.
The overall winner of the contest will be chosen by a panel of judges, including AJ editor Christine Murray, and will be announced on the evening of 21 July. See judges comments on the pdfs attached right.
