Devereux to merge with Dewjo’c Architects

Devereux Architects announced today it will team up with Dewjo’c

The new practice will have a combined team of 150 UK-based staff with another 250 across Europe, and will be ranked as one of the UK’s 20 largest practices.
North East-based Dewjo’c employs 60 staff across the region and in London. It recently secured planning permission for a new hotel on Newcastle’s waterfront.

Peter Walker, MD of Dewjo’c Architects commented: ‘This is a very exciting time, as the merger with Devereux will significantly enhance our offerings in our specialist sectors of healthcare, education and biopharma.’
Devereux’s recent projects have included work on Barts and Royal London Hospitals and Croydon’s Altitude 25 residential scheme. London-based Devereux Architects has offices in Britain, Ireland and Poland. It is part of the engineering and consultancy provider PM Group. Pat McGrath, CEO of PM Group, said: ‘This will give us greater opportunities to expand the business in the UK and across the world, enabling us to win more architect-led projects going forward.’
