CZWG's Arsenal student tower goes for planning

CZWG and Muf Architecture/Art have revealed the first images of their proposed regeneration of a site close to the home of Arsenal football club

The scheme will feature a 25-storey mixed-use tower with dramatic views over the Emirates Stadium.

With outer corners carved into ‘scallops’, the skyscraper will contain 88 five-bed student apartments, 10 self-contained studio rooms, a double-height penthouse common room with mezzanine and external terrace, and a separately accessed public restaurant and bar on the 23rd floor.

The proposed mixed-use development, part of the ‘Arsenal on the Move’ regeneration scheme, includes a landscaped public realm designed by Muf and commercial units set in converted railway arches.
