'Cyclepoint' bike park, Paddington Station by Elefant Architecten

FIRST LOOK: London’s largest bike park has been designed by Dutch architects Elefant, and will combine cycle hire, repair and secure parking at railway stations

If the pilot scheme at London’s Paddington station - set to be the capital’s largest cycle park - is deemed successful, several more ‘Cyclepoint’ locations could be developed throughout the UK.

According to the Evening Standard, for 75p a day, Londoners will be granted access, with a swipe card, to secure parking facilities that will be manned ‘late into the evening’.

The project has cost around £750,000.
