CPMG bosses complete management buy-out
Four directors at CPMG Architects have completed a management buy-out of the Nottingham-based company
Richard Flisher, David Glazebrook, Nick Gregory and Sara Harraway have purchased the practice from retiring fellow directors Bill Crampin and Jack Gant for an undisclosed sum.
The company has 56 staff and is designing control towers for Manchester and Birmingham airports. The studio is also working on the James Review test case school Campsmount Technology College in Doncaster.
David Glazebrook said: ‘Over the last twenty years the company has established a strong reputation for design expertise in a significant number of sectors of the industry.
‘This broad operating base and the location in Nottingham will enable CPMG to continue to provide the best service for both local and national clients. I strongly believe that this will allow the company to remain competitive and to grow during the current challenging period in the economy.’
The studio works in the education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, hotels and leisure, transportation and retail sectors but aims to expands into data centres and energy from waste plants under the new management.
