Carmody Groarke lands Frieze Art Fair jackpot

Carmody Groarke has been named the new architect for the annual Frieze Art Fair in London

Architects to have previously worked on the international art fair which takes place in Regents Park include: Caruso St John (2008-2010), Jamie Fobert (2006–2007) and David Adjaye (2003-2005).

Frieze Art Fair directors Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover said: ‘The architectural design of Frieze Art Fair has been important to us from the beginning. Working with some of the most innovative architectural practices has brought a freshness to the fair experience each year for galleries and visitors alike.’

Kevin Carmody and Andrew Groarke added: ‘We are delighted to be chosen by Frieze Art Fair to work with them on the design of this year’s show. It is a privilege to work on a project which has such a strong legacy of creative collaboration between client and architect.’
