Broadway Malyan scoops Baltic resort job

Broadway Malyan has secured a seaside hotel scheme in Poland

The London-based practice will carry out architectural and interior concept design for the four-star Gwiazda Morza Hotel at Władysławowo on the Baltic coast.

It comes after Broadway Malyan moved into a larger studio in the centre of Warsaw and embarked on a growth strategy in Poland.

The hotel scheme, for developer Gwiazda Morza, will offer 120 rooms with condominium and apartment facilities, as well as a spa and a conference centre.

Broadway Malyan board director David Anderson has joined the Poland team as it looks to boost its presence in the country.

He said: ‘This project win results from our new strategy aimed at growing our team in Poland and widening our project portfolio across sectors.

‘We are now targeting our highly-competitive, multi-sector and country-wide design services to local developer, contractor, local authority and operator clients, as well as drawing on the world-class expertise of our diverse team of global design experts, to ensure that we are the design partner of choice for international clients in Poland and wider region.’

Broadway Malyan is targeting growth in the leisure and aviation sectors as well as new opportunities in the retail sector.
