BFLS unveils office for ‘difficult’ site in heart of the City

[FIRST LOOK + PLANS] Bogle Flanagan Lawrence Silver (BFLS) has unveiled designs for this 19,944m² 15-storey office scheme at 43 Fetter Lane in the City of London

Described by BFLS director John Silver as a ‘rotating, stepped fan’, the block sits on a ‘difficult and transitional’ site between the low-rise Chancery Lane conservation area and the western fringe of the city.

The consented scheme has a ‘ripples across the pond’ facade and was designed for the Great Capital Partnership. It replaces two lower 1950s buildings and a car park, and is expected to complete in 2013.
