Belfast seeks BIM-savvy architects for new framework

Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance and Personnel has tendered for a new £18 million, architectural framework

A four-year framework contract anticipated works cover educational buildings, offices, laboratories, sports and arts facilities and historic buildings in and alongside public realm and regeneration schemes.

Hopeful teams must provide architects, project managers, quantity surveyors, engineers and a CDM co-ordinator with up to six teams to be appointed.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is expected with projects to be taken from client brief through to completion.

Tenders will be opened 20 September with completed submissions expected that morning at the latest. Forms required can be found through the regional tender page.
