Assael bags planning for timber yard redevelopment

[FIRST LOOK + PLANS] Assael Architecture has won planning permission for this £9 million residential scheme on the site of a former timber yard in west London

Sat behind Chiswick High Road, the five townhouses range in size from 128m² to 229m² with the largest building featuring four bedrooms.

Niall Cairns, director at Assael, explained: ‘The homes we have created for Gunnersbury Mews will create a distinct setting with its own identity drawn from the property’s previous use.

‘We hope that our designs, which have been drawn up with families in mind, will prove a welcome addition here.’

Planned in a curved shape the houses overlook a nearby surviving timber building.

Construction will commence this Spring with the project scheduled to complete in the Autumn of 2012.
