Architects needed to overhaul women's hospital in Birmingham

Birmingham Community Healthcare is seeking a design team to redevelop its Women’s Hospital in Mindelsohn Way, Edgbaston

The five-year VITA project includes major refurbishment of the 1968 hospital, which was last revamped in 1995, alongside the construction of new inpatient wards.

Project backer the Birmingham Community Hospital NHS Trust is looking for an architect-led team which includes quantity surveyor, structural engineer, building service engineer, CDM Co-Ordinator, BREEAM Consultant, health planner, planning consultant, traffic consultant and ecologist.

Deadline for requests to participate is midday on 16 October.
