Amin Taha Architects has been picked to overhaul the offices of branding gurus Carter Wong near Lancaster Gate, London
The practice was chosen ahead of Sanei Hopkins and Toh Shimazaki to land the job for the multidisciplinary graphic design studio, best known for its work with Wall’s ice creams.
Among the options proposed for the mews building was its conversion into single home (proposals pictured), with the agency finding a new home elsewhere.
Practice founder Amin Taha said: ‘As part of Carter Wong’s future expansion - and a potential move from the premises - the firm asked three practices to investigate the potential for design and redevelopment.
‘The brief therefore covered design quality as well as planning and commercial realities.
‘We put together a report with two core designs with a number commercial permutations on how to realise them.’
