Amin Taha submits plans for Highbury house

Amin Taha Architects has submitted plans for this competition-winning house for a private client in Highbury, north London

The practice land the contest in February this year and has designed a new home on a ‘restricted site’ with a narrow outlook onto the street.

Practice founder Amin Taha said: ‘Our approach was to re-landscape the garden with descending terrace… [with] level changes splitting the section allowing light and visual connection from the garden to roof terrace.’
