Alsop, Zogolovitch and Finch open LFA in style

[LFA REPORTS] Will Alsop, Paul Finch, Roger Zogolovitch and Philippa Stockley cut quite a dash this Saturday for the official opening of LFA

The regency foursome were made up of Will Alsop as John Nash, Paul Finch, Chair of CABE, as the Grand Old Duke of York, Developer Roger Zogolovitch as the Prince Regent and writer and designer Philippa Stockley as Caroline of Brunswick.

It began at 8.30am with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the world’s first water and solar powered wheelchair lift on the Duke of York Steps. Following this, the regal reincarnates led a procession up Regent Street in a horse drawn cart to lay a wreath at the bust of John Nash before Paul Finch, still dressed as the Grand Old Duke of York, marched to the top of Primrose Hill.

In the afternoon Will Alsop, dressed as Will Alsop, painted a live Nash inspired mural onto one of the large windows of the Sofitel Hotel in St James.
