Alma-nac remodels Slim House

[FIRST LOOK + PLANS + DATA] Alma-nac Collaborative Architecture have extensively remodeled and extended a 2.3m wide terraced house in Clapham, south London

The narrow terrace, thought to be the location of the original stable access to the rear of the high street, measures just 2.3m internally throughout.

Alma-nac has reorganised the internal spaces placing the kitchen/dining room and master bedroom in a rear sloped three-story extension, which is clad in a continuous slate roof.

The floor plates at each level have been cranked, to increase floor to ceiling heights with a light-well inserted over the central stair to allow natural light into the previously ‘dark and gloomy’ centre of the house.
