Allies and Morrison completes Jacobean theatre at Globe

[First look + project data] Allies and Morrison’s £7.5 million Sam Wanamaker Playhouse opened this week

The 340-seat project marks the last phase in the rebuilding of Shakespeare’s Globe on Bankside.

The Jacobean theatre is based on two 17th-century drawings by John Webb and will be lit by candlelight
