AJ100 Awards: value excellence finalists named

The London 2012 Handball Arena, by Make and George House in Glasgow by Reiach & Hall Architects are among eight projects shortlisted for the AJ100 Value Excellence Award

John Robertson Architects, which was highly commended in the award last year for its New Brook Buildings, is also on the shortlist for 199 Bishopsgate in London.

Other projects that make the shortlist are: New Stan Cullis Stand for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, by AFL Architects; Marks & Spencer’s Cheshire Oaks in South Wirral, by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson; The BedPod, by IBI Group; Crouch Hill Community Park by Penoyre & Prasad; and Tidemill Academy and Deptford Lounge in London by Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects.

The Value Excellence prize recognizes a project that has represented best value for money for the client.

The AJ will be revealing the shortlists for the AJ100 awards over the next few days.

The AJ100 awards take place on 8 May at 8 Northumberland Avenue.
