AJ100 Awards: Building of the Year shortlist revealed
John McAslan + Partners’ King’s Cross Station and Wilkinson Eyre’s cooled conservatories for Gardens by the Bay in Singapore are among two of the projects shortlisted for the AJ100 Building of the Year.
The other projects in the frame for the coveted award include: Penoyre & Prasad’s Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health & Wellbeing Centre; Populous’ London 2012 Olympic Stadium; Hopkins’ UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre; AHMM’s North London Hospice; Glenn Howells Architects’ Bramall Music Building; and BDP’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Last year’s Building of the Year winner was Central St Martins Arts Campus by Stanton Williams, while Holburne Museum by Eric Parry Architects was highly commended.
The AJ will be revealing the shortlists for the AJ100 awards over the next few days.
The AJ100 awards take place on 8 May at 8 Northumberland Avenue.
