AJ exclusive: Terry Farrell to unveil succession plans at AJ100 Awards
Architectural veteran Terry Farrell will outline plans for his succession and the future of his practice in an exclusive guest speech at this week’s AJ100 Awards
The 74-year-old star has promised a ‘very personal’ address setting out the future trajectory of his AJ100-ranked company which was established in 1980 and was responsible for the design of high-profile London landmarks including One Embankment Place and the MI6 building.
Speaking to top members of the UK’s largest architectural companies, Farrell will also discuss the changing role of architects and the many different approaches to modern practice.
Anecdotes – including early advice given to RIBA Gold Medal-winner David Chipperfield – are planned.
The celebratory unveiling of this year’s AJ100 league table and awards takes place this Wednesday (15 May) at the Grange St Pauls Hotel in London.
