AJ editor shortlisted for magazine Oscar

AJ editor Christine Murray has been named among the finalists in the British Society of Magazine Editor’s (BSME) annual awards

Murray, who has only been heading the AJ team for just over a year, has been shortlisted for a prestigious accolade in the Business & Professional Magazines category against editors at the British Medical Journal, Construction News and Estates Gazette.

Other big names in the running for awards are: Sandi Toksvig writing for Good Housekeeping (Columnist of the Year); Jason Cowley, the editor of the New Statesman (2011 editors’ editor of the year); and Caitlin Moran, The Times Magazine (Columnist of the Year).

The winners will be revealed at the awards dinner at The London Hilton on Tuesday, 8 November 2011.
