AJ and Open City launch Open House London photography competition
The Architects’ Journal with Open City has launched a photography competition to celebrate the upcoming Open House London Weekend
On 18-19 September private houses, offices and other architectural gems across the capital will throw open their doors to the public.
This annual Open City-organised event offers an unprecedented insight into the city’s architectural heritage and some unrivalled photo opportunities.
To celebrate Open House London photographers, architects and architecture fans are invited to take part in a photography competition.
The two categories are ‘architectural details’ and ‘design that makes a difference’.
Entries will be judged by an expert panel including AJ art editor Brad Yendle and architectural photographer Ed Reeve.
The winners in each category will receive an A1 mounted print of their photo, plus the opportunity for their work to be featured in the AJ and in Open House promotional material.
Both winners will also receive a selection of architectural books chosen by Brad Yendle.
