Aedas completes Hong Kong skyscraper
Aedas has released there pictures of this 32,400m², 28-storey mixed-use tower in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong
The 18 Kowloon East schemes includes flats, shops, offices and a car park and sits in a mainly industrial area of the city.
Aedas claims to improved the air quality to the car park levels by introducing planting around the building’s perimeter.
Aedas said: ‘Instead of providing another office tower entirely wrapped in a coolly glazed skin, the design investigates the possibility of providing an environmentally sustainable design in such an industrial area.’
While ‘providing car park users a more pleasant experience’ the towers lower-level flora is also intended to improve air quality at street level.
