ABW unwraps Ormskirk campus building  

[First look + project data + plans]  ABW Architects has completed this £14 million student ‘hub’ building for Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, Lancashire

Designed for students and visitors, the 4,900m² building features dining, retail and social learning facilities alongside student union offices.

The project’s copper-clad new build element sits alongside an existing 1930’s building which was refurbished.

According to the Liverpool-based practice, the building was designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating and features LED lighting and a solar thermal hot water supply.
