AAVA unveils plans for four-home scheme in London conservation area

[First look + plans] London starlet AAVA has submitted plans for this four-home scheme in Greenwich, south-east London.

The £3 million, 1,200m2 project off Foyle Road in the Westcombe Park conservation area, will replace 18 garages currently on the site.

The detached homes will be built from traditional materials, including Kent Ragstone masonry walls, oiled Scandinavian redwood cladding and stainless steel window frames, which the practice claims ‘will ensure the properties sit comfortably with their neighbours in this semi-rural environment’.

The houses all have two storeys, apart from the building on the northern boundary, which steps down to one.

Backed by a local developer, the project is expected to start on site by August 2012.
