Weston Williamson scoops planning for Pudding Mill DLR

[First look] Weston Williamson has won planning permission for a new Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station at Pudding Mill in east London

The project will replace an existing stop which is being demolished to make way for Crossrail.

The existing Pudding Mill Lane DLR station will remain open to passengers until the new station is complete in 2013.

Construction of Weston Williamson‘s new DLR station will commence later this year.

London Rail chief operating officer Howard Smith said: ‘The new station will be able to accommodate many more passengers than the existing station which will support future development as well as the future use of the Olympic stadium.’
