Shettleston Housing Association (SHA) are seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants to provide professional services for the design and delivery of a new build housing development at Pettigrew Street / Ballintore Street in Shettleston, Glasgow. The following services are required:
1. Architect and Design Team Leader;
2. Civil and Structural Engineer;
3. Quantity Surveyor These will be seperate appointments direct with SHA. SHA anticipate all appointments being made on a traditional basis using recognised industry standard documents.

Shettleston Housing Association (SHA) is proposing to develop up to 90 units at Pettigrew Street / Ballintore Street, Shettleston, Glasgow. The site is currently owned by Glasgow Housing Association (GHA) and is subject to an ongoing demolition programme of the existing tenements. GHA tenants are currently being re-housed and the site is expected to be fully vacated and demolitions complete by March 2009. The development of the site is then planned in two phases with Phase 1 providing 30 units of social rented housing for elderly. This phase is anticipated to start on site in March 2010 and have a total development cost of £ 3 633 000 GBP. Phase 2 is for 30 units of social rented housing for general needs anticipated to start on site in March 2011 and 30 units low cost home ownership housing for sale anticipated to start on site in March 2012. The total development cost of Phase 2 is estimated at £ 8 800 000 GBP. The design stage of the project is planned to commence immediately upon conclusion of the procurement of consultants to achieve the site start dates identified above. The total anticipated development cost for the project is £ 12 433 000 GBP. The contractor will be procured on a traditional basis.
