Birkbeck College University of London wish to make a single appointment for a multidisciplinary design team incorporating the following services Architect, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Structural engineering, fire engineering, acoustic engineering, Landscape Architect, building control and CDM Coordinator. The project is a 7000 sq. m new build multi storey multi function university building on a brownfield site in Stratford East London. The sucessful team will be required to complete a preliminary design in line with RIBA stages A to C together with the preparation of a set of Employer's Requirements.
It is intended that the successful team will be novated to the contractor for the remaining work stages.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 20,000,000 GBP.
