Design a chair: Caiazza Memorial Challenge

The organisers of the Italian chair show Promosedia have launched a competition for the design of indoor chairs that make significant use of wood.

The competition is open to professional designers who were below the age of 40 on 8 September 2007, and also to students.

First prize will be 3,500 Euro, and the judges may also allocate up to two special awards of 500 Euro. Wining designs and a prototype will be shown at the Promosedia exhibition in September 2008.
