Chiswick office faces £700,000 High Court legal battle

The two partners of west London-based architectural practice Hemingway Cumbo are facing a £700,000 negligence claim.

A restaurant firm, Pietro Dellapina and Papijo, is suing Livio Cumbo and Stuart Hemingway and their firm for damages, according to a High Court writ.

The North London business - which runs the Papijo restaurant on Arcadia Avenue in Finchley - is claiming damages for alleged negligence and breach of contract.

One of its owners, a Mr Dellapina, is also suing for damages for allegedly negligent advice.

Other details of the case against the Chiswick practice remain sketchy but records from Companies House show that the restaurant firm is now in liquidation.

The writ was issued by Lester Dominic of Southgate, north London.
