Chetwood reveals latest organic architecture project - images

Chetwood Associates has revealed these images of a new sculpture, which will form a key part of this summer's London Architecture Biennale in June.

The Urban Oasis scheme will be sited in Clerkenwell Green, right outside the practice's London offices.

The development of the scheme represents the latest example of Laurie Chetwood's commitment to reflecting organic development in his designs.

He demonstrated this earlier in his famous Butterfly House in Sussex and the Andes House in Chile (AJ 10.11.05).

The new Clerkenwell project takes its inspiration from the natural forms that can be found in flower buds and spinal columns.
